A Symphonic Celebration of Two American Icons

I Will Always Love You: Dolly and Whitney

Editorial collage for the 2027 gala: sepia portraits of Whitney Houston and Dolly Parton above a portrait of Music & Artistic Director Anthony Parnther, with photographs of a champagne toast and a gala ballroom, and a cream title card reading “I Will Always Love You · Dolly and Whitney”

Program Notes

The season's grandest night — the songs of Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston, hosted by Maestro Parnther.

The Symphony's gala evening for 2027 celebrates two American icons: Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston. Two vocalists carry the songs — one from each world — and the full orchestra binds them together.

The night begins in the lobby with drinks at 7:00 PM, continues with a sixty-minute concert in the hall at 8:00 PM, and ends with dinner in the lobby at 9:00 PM, where the musicians of the orchestra join the guests.
